4:30am Sunday morning

OMG! WTF? This morning around 4:30am I heard about 5 shots near my house. The only thing I could think of is someone shot my dogs. So I went outside and thank goodness they were okay. But this evening a neighbor was outside with another neighbor. She informed me that someone knocked at her door around 4:30am. She said she looked out the window and saw he had a rifle. My other neighbor told me she heard someone knocking at her door but did not answer it. No one knocked at my door. It could be because all the lights were on in the house and I was up cleaning the house or it could have been the stickers on our door that says we shot to kill? Anyhow all I know is I was so freaking stupid for going outside this morning. How close it could have been for me and Chloe! We were home alone! Tom was at work! He's at work now and I am so freaking scared out of my mind! At lease I have a way to perfect my family if need be. We have two 45's, a 40, a 22, and a 9 pistol and two rifles. Plus enough ammo to get the job done no matter how any people try and get into my house. I do feel bad for my neighbors because I know for a fact that none of them own guns. The law will protect me in my own home, but it will not allow me to protect my neighbors.
