Balloon Festival

I went a friends house yesterday for a balloon festival party.  The actual festival backs up to the neighborhood. 

The friend hosted the party for about 50 people.  The kids played and swam while we ate all day.  They had beer worst, hot dogs, and hamburgers.  There were about 20 sides.  Then we dessert was caramel apples, frozen fondue, homemade chocolates, and homemade funnel cake.

 

I forgot my camera but a friend took these pictures. 

The blindingly white boy is my son.  He was in there with 4 girls.

There was a balloon festival when I went to visit my sister in NY. It was such an awesome unexpected sight. I'm glad you got to enjoy this, and the pool looks inviting !!

We have a balloon festival in our area this coming weekend.  It's always held the 4th weekend in Sept. and has been held for as long as I can remember.  My eldest is 32 and I can remember getting up before dawn, more like 4 or 5 AM  and taking the 3 of them to the festivals when they were still wearing blanket sleeper jammies.

i used to go to that when we lived in Lewisville, Tx...was it in Texas? it looks like my old area...such a good time!!!!!

What a fun thing to do in the - uh, fall.  Balloons are fun and pretty, and joyful!  Going pmkin hunting soon, here.  Hi and hugs to you : )
