Abundance.....

 .....of tomatoes....I have canned, frozen over 100 pounds of them this year...and am very excited. I just plucked another 11 pounds this evening, and that was leaving a huge amount on the vines to further ripen.....here is a picture of my beauties...they range from grapes, to yellow branywine heirlooms...enjoy!

I wish my tomatoes looked that good.  I'm salivating just from looking at the picture.

My tomatoes all took off at once. attacked me. I have TONS strung up outside on the vines, a ton in the house, gave a bunch away and over half what was there, rotted for some reason..those will goto the chickens.... This year sure was an experiance! I need to figure out how to can BEFORE I plant tomatoes next year!  I pllanted a huge garden without a plan of what I was going to do when it all got here!

I wasnt expecting it to do as well as it did! Ive also given away millions of yellow squash and golden zuccini...easiest things to grow... note to self...one plant of each should do JUST FINE! hahaha

Your tomatoes are BEAUTIFUL :) Did you take pictures of them canned? I looove how pretty things are in jars :)

Holly, you can also just chop them up, and throw them in freezer bags....

You know, with your green thumb, you'd be a shoe-in as an urban garden program developer, darling...if only you had more hours in the day!  *wink*
