Yesterday I read a rather interesting post in Religious Debate asking Christian's this question:  If a person commits a henious crime (murder or rape), is sent to jail, asks to be saved, is saved, but is put to death, does this person go to Heaven?  Most of the replies said yes, if this person TRUELY asks "Jesus" into their hearts.

Now as a Pagan I was asking myself, what would happen to the criminal according to my beliefs?  The first thing that came to mind was the Law of 3.  Karma.  Meaning that any energy a person sends out into the universe weather positive or negative, will come back to them times three.  So to me a person who commits murder or rape would have so much negative energy that being sent to their death, in the rare instance, or being sent to jail where they would be constantly reminded of what they did every single day for the rest of this earthly life seems like the right kind of thrice negative energy they deserve.
