As guests entered the elegant Dining Hall for the Rehersal Dinner, they were greeted by a receiving line of the Bride, Groom, and their families. With kisses on the cheek, hugs, and firm hand shakes, people filtered in finding choice spots to get comfortable for the evening to come.
Marcus stood straiter a bit tense seeing Blaise Zabini approaching with Sara Black on his arm. Peni put her arm through his to sooth him as she greeting her Great Aunt in Quileute. Blaise wasn't planning to come. It was his plan to keep from causing any trouble. With a collective sigh, they both hoped him coming didn't mean trouble was brewing. Standing in line to enter the room infused with pink light, Blaise hesitated for a moment before Sara leaned up to his ear on her tip toes whispering, "I'm not wearing any panties,"
"You should have told me that before we came to the party." Blaise laughing putting his arm around his date as they arrived infront of the Bride and Groom.
Peni hugged Sara, giving her a kiss on the cheek while complimenting her breezy dress. In a mock hug with Blaise, Peni grabbed her Ex-husband by the collar still smiling so other guests wouldn't be surprised, and hissed in his ear, "If you wand comes out, I will drop you to the ground." While Blaise smiled his wicked smile at her, Peni leaned back saying, "And I'm so glad you came. "
Sara moved on to hug Marcus, with a kiss on the cheek, standing back to watch Blaise carefully as he walked but Marcus, looking over him as if he wasn't even there. Peni put her arm through Marcus's encouraging him. Being the man he was, he just shrugged it off expecting nothing less from Blaise.
Walking away from the recieving line, Blaise responded to Peni's warning as he put his arm around Sara saying, "This is fun."
Knowin the best way to distract him, Sara arch into him giving him a sexy looking suggesting, "Give it a chance."
Kissing the top of Peni's head, Marcus leaned over watching Blaise's scowl soften to a smile at Sara's sexy gesture, and said to his Bride, "Maybe she'll keep him distracted."
Blaise picked a nice table in the far corner of the room - as far away from the Bride and Grooms table, choosing seats with their backs to them.
"Oh," Sara smiled suddenly. "I almost forgot I got you something." She blushed for a second taking something out of her purse to hand to Blaise, "It's no diamond tenis bracelet... " Reaching in her purse, she pulled out a tiny glass figuring of Sleeping Beauty dancing with her Prince Charming. Sara blushed a bit as Blaise held it in his hand.

For a moment he was speechless. This was something he thought was settled yesterday when Sara rebuffed his Prince Charming offer. Turning it in his hand, this meant more to him than even he wanted to admit. Taking her more in his arms he leaned over telling saying sincerely, "Thank you." Holding her chin, he held the figurine in the other hand, as he laid a lingering sweet kiss on her lips adding, "I love it."
Sara returned his kiss, saying to him, "The Prince Charming thing could be negotiable."
Across the room Marcus held Peni, his fingers tracing up and down her arms, with the glowing smile he had worn constanly since their wedding weekend began. Seeing the awstruck look on Blaise's face, with the sweet kiss that followed, Peni jumped up and down. When Blaise held the chair out for Sara, taking his seat beside her, he placed the figure in front of him still looking at it as he toyed it with his fingers. Pulling on his arm, Peni pointed in Sara and Blaise's direction.
Coming out of his daze, Marcus looked over asking, "Is this a good thing or a bad thing?"
"If she keeps that up," Peni leaned into her Groom relaxing for the first time since Blaise arrived, "I think we're going to be just fine. Did you see him blush? I owe her one."
Leaning down to her ear, Marcus laughed, "I feel like I'm offering my best friend as bait."
"The way he's looking at her," Peni said turning her face so that it was inches from Marcus's she said, "I think she's going to be okay. As long as no one does anything stupid. I think it will be okay." Grabbing into his tie she said sensually, "That's enough about Blaise. This is about us."
Marcus closed the distance between them pressing his lips to hers saying what she could never tire of hearing from him, "I love you, you know that?" She also never tired of telling him with the stars in her eyes, "I love you, my soon to be husband."
Soft music played as the clinks of forks and spoons on fine china sounded amidst bubbling conversation as everyone dined of the fine cuisine. Blaise leaned back with his arm around Sara tracing her back, with Bliss in his lap letting her pick food of his plate, while he talked with Deni and Nevi as they ate.
Sara whispered in Blaise's ear, "See, it's not so bad."
"No it's not." He replied with a nod.
As desert was being served, Sara left Blaise with the kids, coming up being Marcus and Peni asking "Are there any best man duties I'm slacking on?"
Shaking her head with a laugh Peni answered, "I don't think any of us had a clue this was in your job discription. You're doing a great job of handling him. What happens after the wedding and he'd still all snuggly with you?"
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it," Sara gave Peni her signature wink. "As it is I had to say I wasn't wearing panties just to get a smooth entrance"
"I don't want to hear this." Marcus said turning his glass in front of him.
Peni knew all to well what Sara was working with. "Blaise is a constant project to manage. Are you having fun?"
With a twinkle in her eye Sara answered, "Yeah, I am, actually." Witha blush she changed the subject pointing to the bracelt they let the boys purchase for Peni. "Deni and Nevi had a blast picking those out, I'm glad you liked it"
"They have talked of nothing else." Peni put her fingers through Marcus's knowing even though he was happy for the kids, it was a bit hard for watching the kids make over Blaise so much. "I'm just so thankful." Peni added. "You're like a breath of fresh air, Sara." Pulling Sara close she whispered, "When the boys runs off with the kids, you can hand Bliss off, and there is this coat closet three doors down on the right outside in the hallway that has a door that locks."
Sara laughed as Peni raised her eyebrows suggestively. Giving Peni a kiss on her cheek she said with a bright sincere smile, "I'm so glad your marrying my best friend. He deserves the best."
Marcus leaned in giving Peni's knee a squeeze saying, "I'm glad your marrying her best friend too."
Holding onto his face, Peni rubbed noses with him saying softly before sharing a kiss, "I'm glad I'm marrying her best friend too."
