On my way to work today I was driving along like everyone else. I had to be in the fast lane because my left hand turn was coming up and I knew if I waited much longer no one would allow me to get into the correct lane. Just before my turn I notice a car that is tailgating me. He stays there for a few and then jumps in the other lane hoping that the car next to me is going to pass me. It doesn't. When my turn comes up I get into the turning lane and low and behold, its a city police officer that speeds by me after jumping back into the left lane. He seemed to be in a hurry. If his job required him to go that fast why didn't he have his lights on? Why did he speed when everyone else must do the limit? If its not necessary to turn on the lights, its not necessary to speed- or tailgate!
