Can one market their business on a limited, or non- existent budget?
YES, it can be done!!!
Here is my Top 10 List:
1. Find a social media site, like http://econnect.entrepreneur.com, create your profile and start participating! Be a helpful part of that community, and start promoting your business.
2. Start a blog! You can start blogging by using a free service from http://www.blogger.com or, the one I prefer, http://wordpress.com .
3. Search out other blogs that are relevant to your business. Start commenting on them and be sure to leave your own URL.
4. Write relevant "how-to" articles and submit them to http://ezinearticles.com ! This is a great way to get mentions and links.
5. If your community has a homeowners association, ask if you can contribute your articles to their newsletter! Most would be happy for additional material.
6. Find free online marketing courses to take and then apply the methods learned to your business!
7. Create videos of your business or products and upload them to http://www.youtube.com . Once your videos are uploaded, embed them on your own web site as well.
8. Build a http://www.facebook.com page for your business and start a community focused on your niche.
9. Start Twittering on http://twitter.com ! What a fun way to advertise your site and products for free!
10. Use free classified ad services (like http://www.craigslist.org ) to promote your product or service
These Top 10 should get you started in attracting business for FREE!
