Well we've made it to 34 weeks. I never thought I'd get this far when we started. Time seemed to creep along at first, then speed up so fast that I don't even remember having a second trimester, and now it's going at a pretty steady pace. We've accomplished a lot, but we also have a lot to do!..

To-Do List:

Finish the Nursery, we've started it and it looks awesome so far. We decided to do the baby blue thing.. we are chair-railing the walls half-way up, baby blue on bottom and white on the top. We have all of the furniture (mine from when I was born) and it's all walnut and still in amazing shape. The bedding and 'decor' is called something like "country bear cottage," very cute, goes well with the walnut wood and the blue on the walls. All we have left to go is finish the chair-rail, make a blue valance for the window and get everything set up after the baby shower, speaking of that..

Have the Baby Shower, it's scheduled for October 3rd at this really neat church hall, that will hopefully hold everyone! I think total we have close to 75 people expected, and everyone is starting to rsvp, so it's getting exciting :o) We'll also have to figure out what else we need after we see what we get from all the guests at the shower.. I'm really hoping we get a lot of the big stuff.. and for the baby shower I also want to..

Get my hair done, I've definatly let it go throughout the whole pregnancy. I've let everything go, lol. All I'd like to do is dye it a darker color since we are now in Fall, and get some honey highlights. I'll probably get my nails done, too. Lord knows they look horrible now, lol. Also, we need to..

Finish our Birth Plan, there are so many options having to do with labor and delivery. It's kindof intimidating and I want to be able to make the right decisions and I just want everything to smoothly, so bad. Still have some questions to ask the doctor dealing with the birth plan, so next visit I'll get those out of the way. It's always akward to start a conversation with "so as he is coming out of my vagina..," lol, you know what I mean. But it's stuff you 'gotta know, so bring on the info, doc. Oh, also we need to..

Baby-Proof the house, get everything ridiculously clean and organized. Mine and Jorge's room needs a good go-through, especially our closet (that's totally my issue, my clothes are everywhere, but they are all pre-pregnancy clothes so I've put off organizing them, it makes me sad that they won't fit! lol). Also our bathroom that we'll be sharing with the baby.. it's been about a month since I really cleaned the shower and tub (I'm anal about that.. I refuse to bathe in a dirty tub) and I need to organize the vanity drawers and get all of our 'products' straightened out. And probably deep clean the tile. Ugh, it's so hard to get in 'cleaning positions' when your huge. And finally..

Continue playing the waiting game, I'm so anxious. Jorge is starting to realize how close we're getting and everytime I get a BH contraction or a cramp and have to just take a second, he's like, "are you okay? baby?!" Lol he's the best. I know he's going to be great while I'm in labor and for the delivery. I'm so happy I've got him to go through everything with, I'd be lost without him.

One of our accomplishments was getting the 4D ultrasound done.. it was amazing and all the pictures are adorbale. We also have the dvd of the live ultrasound and it's crazy, I watch it everyday. I want so see Nicholas so bad!! Jorge really likes the dvd, he thought the whole process was amazing. Technology is ridiculous.

Nicholas is getting fiesty in there! pushing around and trying to make room.. it's painful and uncomfortable, but I also like to feel him move.. it lets me know he's alright in there :o)

Our friend and his girlfriend just had a little girl on Sunday. She was only three weeks ahead of me so now that she has had their baby it's like it's my turn.. and I'm so excited. Being a mommy is all I think about, and then after Nicholas is here and we have time to adjust and he's a little older, Jorge and I are going to get married. The wedding I've dreamed about since I was old enough to know what a wedding was.. it's going to happen, and I couldn't be happier.

Mommy and Daddy can't wait to meet you, Nicholas. See you soon :o)
