Recently, I responded a tad irrationally to a post on the SAHMs-Uncensored group. Some woman was "creeped out" by the fact that another woman had posted a picture of her stillborn child. I had to tell this woman to get over herself because the woman with the stillborn child has a right to grieve. I lost a child. I know lots of women who have. It is incredibly difficult. My subsequent pregnancy was also difficult. I threw up for 22 weeks, I had PUPPPs, GD and HELLP syndrome. My son was born at 33w 5d and spent 13 days in the NICU. I'm so lucky that he's turning 1 on Saturday, but I still grieve for my lost child.

I'm not uncool for voicing my opinion. I think that people need to understand that sometimes the outcome of a pregnancy is not always a perfect, healthy child.

God bless that woman for posting the picture of her stillborn.

I can imagine being upset by seeing the picture, but I can't for the life of me imagine saying something about it.  Is it creepy to look a picture of a dead person?  Yea.  Is it incredibly sad that a mother had to deliver a baby still born?  YES!! Should that mother be able to post a picture where she feels support and not be attacked for doing so?  YES.  I just don't understand why mom's feel the need to always speak their mind, sometimes it's best to bite our tongue.  This is a perfect example, who ever complained about the picture should have first put themselves in the shoes of the Mom who posted the picture and thought how their words would affect her... do onto others ya know?
