During a long drive we recently saw a sign advertising the exit for a family nudist camp.
Take a moment to let that register....Family. Nudist. Camp.
When we explained to the kids what it was, they were absolutely disgusted, and frankly so were we. I guess I can see why an ‘adults only' nudist colony might be appealing to some people, but a FAMILY nudist camp? I would like to know who would take their family there? Although come to think of it, such a destination would definitely shorten the packing duties. ‘Come on kids, we're going to camp this week, and don't worry about packing any clothes, just grab an extra bottle of bug spray!!'
Although my kids are frequently in various stages of dress, I am always fully clothed unless someone is peering at me from the other side of the shower curtain. I don't have a problem being naked in front of the kids, (except when they start commenting on what is jiggly), but my hubby would never be caught without his clothes on in front of the kids. Anyway, a nudist camp is definitely not the place for us.
There just wouldn't be enough hand sanitizer, or disinfectant wipes to go around.
