My kids new bedroom and playroom

My kids Kyle(4) and Kimberlee(2) have had their own rooms for about a year now.  Kyle was so happy he got his own room again, finally after being stuck in the same room as baby, lol.  Recently we got them new beds.  My daughter just recently got out of the crib because she kept getting stuck in it, lol.  So, we gave her Kyle's toddler bed for the time being and put Kyle in the crib w/o the front on-we didn't want Kimi falling out of it.  These beds were just temporary.  This summer we recieved a full size bed set with a matching dresser for my daughter, complete with mattress and boxspring.  She loved getting it.  Yeah whe she first got it, an almost 2yr old in  a fullsize bed.  Shortly after my sil gave me a head board and foot board that she got at savers for super cheap because she decided she was going to do something different.  I already had the rails and just had to buy my son a mattress and boxspring, which I got for $30 or $40.  So, their beds cost me a whole whopping $30-40.

Well, my son has never wanted to really sleep in his room because I think he would get lonely.  Most nights he would never even go to bed in his bed and would want to go sleep with sissy, lol.  So, finally about a month ago I decided what the heck, I'm going to try to push their beds together to make one big bed-got the idea from another cafemom.  I was able to kinda puzzle their beds together because my daughter's headboard is a lot bigger than my son's.  So, I moved all her toys out of that room too.  I made, what used to be Kimi's room into their bedroom.  Then I moved all the toys out of Kimi's room and put all the toys, into what used to be Kyle's room and made it just the playroom.  The kids love it.  Also, Kyle has slept almost everynight all the way through in his bedroom now.  I made the mistake of putting him to bed one night with Kimi and, I won't do that again.  Because they just stay up for hours and play, lol.  So, I put Kimi to bed around 7:30 and Kyle goes to bed at 9:00ish and they both sleep until 7:30am or later.  I love it!  Getting a full nights sleep again.  I haven't since before Kyle was born.  The bedroom is still decorated in princess and the playroom is still decorated in Thomas.  Kyle just got the cars set right after I re-arranged everything.

Don't mind the bad lighting and the messes in the rooms.  I can never seem to get good lighting because the only digital camera I have is on my cellphone
