Does Walmart actually sell anything???? UGH!

Okay so my Dh works there and so does my mom. So we get a discount which is just about the only reason I shop there. I prefer Kmart.  Anyhow,  Kyla had a birthday party today and out of all 7 of the gifts I listed as possiblities none of them were anywhere near me locally!  Now my "neighborhood" Walmart is in a large Suburban area and either I had to have it shipped to me or they weren't within 100 miles of me!  WTH???  UGH, I always shop at the last minute for gifts so, ordering online is not an option.  I just think this sucks because the category I was looking at was toys for a girl between 8=11.   They keep nothing in stock for that age group. 

Sorry, this is just a friend and a new one at that.  I have no idea what clothing size to buy her (and no, I couldn't guess) and we do not know them well enough to purchase electronics for her.  So I guess I am either going to go with a puzzle or a board game.  Its just aggravating.  Maybe I will stop by crafts and see what they have there.

Have you tried the Site to Store option?  I know you said you shop at the last minute...but maybe for next time?

I have to drive really far away to get to a Wal-Mart.  It is always so disappointing to spend the money on gas and then have nothing be there.  :(
