I just started the Dave Ramsey FPU! It is awesome! I recommend it to ANYONE!!!  Class one is Super Savings! Get $1000 in the bank (or $500 if income is less than 20K).  Pay off all debt using the snow ball method!

Write down all debt, in order from least to most, including your home. Have a yard sale and pay off smallest. Then make min payment on next largest, plus the min payment from the smallest you just paid off. Until that is paid off. Say you have a $15 min payment, you paid it off, the next one had a $10 min payment, So now you pay $25 a month. Once that is paid off, you next debt has a $75 min payment, so pay that plus the $25 from before. Keep going until it is all paid!!! All the while making the min payments for everything! Once all you have left is your home, you can start to pay off your home early!!! How simple and awesome is that!!!
