I have come across a few parents that dont take pre school seriously. My own hubby made the mistake of saying " Its just preschool, he can miss 2 days".
Maybe Im weird or different but I take preschool seriously and I think that a positive attitude is good and not just a half ass attitude. I was a child who was dragged all over the country from school to school and missed a lot of days. There is one family that pulled their son out of preschool for 2 weeks with out even worrying. What?! I mean I know that its not my family but WTF!!
I think school is important no matter what grade the children are in. My son is 4 and he just started Preschool and my daughter is 2 and she'll be there soon.
Every journal or post i've put on here i always end up getting negative comments. But writing a journal because Im annoyed with the fact that some parents think prechool isjust nothing important and its somewhere to stick your kid for while. I feel like im the only one that is worried the attitude. I think my son should be at school everyday unless he is deathly sick.

Well I just put my 2 1/2 year old in pre school half day 5 days a week. I still take her out for interesting playdates and she's missed a week already and is about to miss another so no I guess you can say I don't take pre-school too seriously. I had originally only intended her to go a few days a week but it wasn't much more expensive to just go every day.
She still goes most of the time and learns a lot while she's there but I don't feel at her age it's critical to her future education to miss a few days here or there. I kind of consider preschool as a bonus, not a requirement.
