Yay! No more cancer!

5 years ago today, I had a hysterectomy in response to an extremely early stage of cervical cancer. Woohoo!!

So celebrate in any way you see fit -- I suggest a round of cosmos for everyone! But you can't drink until you've either had or scheduled your girl exam this year, so get on the phone if you haven't already been!

In fact, I had my girl exam earlier this month and all is clear. Yay!!

This one’s important, ladies — it’s easier and cheaper to check now and fix early than otherwise. And while you’re on the phone with the doctor, make sure your hubby has his prostate exam. Because it’s not fair that we should suffer alone.

YAY you!  Incidentally, just had my girl exam yesterday. Now I have to schedule my mammo, for between now and my next birthday in the summer. Again, yay you!

I don't get a mammogram until next year -- really looking forward to that! *coughcough* Excuse me, I got some sarcasm stuck in my throat. ;-)
