I am so very tired of the way people are treated in this country ( rant, probably will offend)

This past weekend i had my eyes opened to some incredibly sad things. I witnessed first hand ALOT of police-military intimidation going on in pittsburgh. We made our way to Schenely Park for a candlelight vigil for those who were wrongfully jailed during the riots ( that would be the ones who were caught by circumstance not the ones causing trouble!) My best friend & I parked about 3 blocks away and walked into town, While we were walking we passed at least 100 nat'l guardsmen gearing up in riot suits, We spoke to them, They seemed very nice and we thanked them for keeping pittsburgh semi sane during the g-20. Boy i never thought in my heart that i would ever regret thanking someone, but now i do. We got to the park absolutely NOTHING was going on, Maybe 20 -30 people there enjoying the radio station that was playing live & waiting for the band to set up to play. We were there maybe a hour or so and we noticed that there were a awful lot of cops, Then more, and more were coming, There were at least 200 or more standing on the Pitt Campus they were being bought in by the bus fulls. Yes there were some anarchists there, Were they causing trouble absolutly NOT. Come on they were playing the chicken dance and playing with the kids in the park. We looked to our left and noticed that all of the guardsmen were standing in a line across the street, They crossed and between them and the cops they blocked off the entire park, That is when the terrible anarchists got on there bullhorn and told them , THere are children & babies here. They did not care. We decided it was time for us to go ahead and leave the park we walked across the street to tape & get more pictures. The cops were egging people on, People got scared. They were surrounded. I can not comprehend what happened after we decided to leave, The children who live on campus were trapped in there own homes where the police were setting off tear gas and trapping them in stairwells, They were setting it off in the hallways, releasing dogs on these children for doing what they do every weekend, They were outside of there homes hanging out. Yes of course they are going to line the street to see whats going on, WHO WOULDN'T. You have over 300 police in full riot gear and nothing happening. Would you not want to see what the fuss is about? I am so sick of what is going on in the world. People open your eyes and see what the truth is, Our rights are being trampled on daily. The police were taking peoples cameras, camcorders smashing them, But allowing themselves to take pictures with people they arrested. It was so disheartening to watch all of this. I have videos if you would like to see them i can PM them to you.

I've said it, too, it's no longer the Democrats against the Republicans.  It's not even black against white.  We need a Party Of the People! POP!  Let's make the government think they're in on a burner with a bag of jiffypop! (And no that's not a death threat, just a turn up the heat reference.)

It needs to go back to for the people by the people. The Gov't is for the gov't gain only. Nothing is beneficial to the people anymore. It is all about political-government gain. Our people are suffering right now. You no longer have the right to peaceful protest, To freedom of speech*sigh*

I just got told by someone the other day ON HERE that cops do not EVER arrest people wrongfully??!!!

I know- WTF!!!

This is horrible...
