Feel the burn? Check.

This morning was a bit of a drag. I didn't want breakfast. I just wasn't hungry. Buuuut I ate. It's a measly 182 calories. And I felt more energetic when I had. Morning snack came late also. I just didn't feel like eating. But I did it anyway.

Now, here it is, 3pm and still I haven't had lunch. I'm going to make it as soon as I'm done with this journal.

I went for my walk. Did I feel the burn. YES.

Man, I thought today would be easier. I didn't have any soreness in my muscles when I got up, so I figured I was starting to get used to it. Not so much.

I was about 1/8th of my way through my walk when I realized my legs were already on fire. Blah. But I persevered. On the last 1/8th of my walk, I was feeling good. See, that's when I get off the busy street where cars are passing me all the time. You know. You try and look inconspicuous, or really focused so the people in the cars will think you're awesome.

Well apparently it rubbed off.. or I just wasn't paying attention to how I felt.. so I felt good. I turned the corner and I could see home. There it is. Just a strait stretch, and I'm there.

No. I can do better than that.

Quick snap decision and I was turning the corner. Going for another block. I felt good. I feel good.

Now here I am.. my legs are twitching. Not sure why, but they tend to do that after I walk. It's less today than it was yesterday.

But I did it. Again. = )

I'm doing this. It's hard. But I'm doing it.

Whew. I don't ever want to forget how hard this was for me.\

Must. Eat. Lunch.

I am sooo proud of you!!!! I want to try to lose weight too, but not sure what kind of foods to eat. I don't want to do chicken every night. I will end up getting off track way too fast. I love Mexican but doubt there's anything "healthy". What kind of food are you eating. I need ideas on what would be delicious but healthy.

That slightly annoying twitch is actually good.  It means you worked the muscles, which are repairing themselves and will be stronger.  More muscles = more calorie burn.  You are doing awesome!

If you lived close we could walk together.

I really am happy that you are sticking with this.  Getting healthy and taking care of yourself is great not only for you but for the people around you.  You are proving it can be done!  Keep it up girly!
