Okay, I hate to admit it, but they approved me to get food stamps, and right now I can use the help. But I have no idea how they come up with how much money people get for food. I know I am getting more right now because I have no income (I am still waiting to get checks from TDI) but still, this amount I am receiving is absolutely horrible. I could never use this much money on food for a month. For a family of 4, they gave me $1025.00 (yes, one thousand and twenty five dollars). How can they possibly give someone that much money for food? How am I supposed to spend that much money? There is me, a 2 month old, a 16 month old and a 3 1/2 year old. How can they expect me to spend that much money every month? Honestly ... have they lost their minds giving someone that much money???

That is amazing! But what a blessing for you and your family. Gotta say I'd be tempted to partner with another family and buy their groceries, too! Or cook meals for needy families (as though a mother has time, I sooo know!) but I'd personally rather have too much than too little. Much rather have a blessing, than a cursing, lol! Thanks for sharing your story!
