"Money does not give you happiness" whoever said that was either very poor (and resigned to keep being) or immensely rich... Money does bring you happiness.. it is a necessary part of our lives, it keeps us healthy, happy, stress free... I know, I know.. money is nothing if you don't have someone to share it with.. yeah I agree.. but if you don't have money... well you might as well not have anybody because when a marriage has money problems they are so stressed and fighting all the time that it takes the fun out of having them around.

You might be saying to yourself "this women has money problems in her marriage"  well.. yes, but thank God we are not at the stage of fighting, not yet..  I am not working, my husband is working lots of overtime and complaining he has little time to spend with us.. I feel worthless because I cant help, I cant bring a paycheck in... as much as I would like to go out and work, we don't want to leave our daughter with anybody.. not yet. I have been looking for something to do from home.. nothing.

We have lots of bills and a mortgage and although we are managing with his check.. it would be nice to have some extra money to do other things.. I know I am not the only one in this boat.. and I feel bad for all my fellow mom's out there.. I feel you.

I am writing this today, because I just checked, once again, the child support account for my son, and his "sperm doner" of a father has not paid child support.. he owes his son $5366.00 so far.. and he doesn't even call to know how his son is doing.. pathetic!  I am so down today...  and on top of that I just paid the mortgage two days ago and our account is sooooo low.. scary low.. see.. money does brings you happiness!!

I thank God for all our blessings.. he was provide and never failed us.. and I am sorry i am letting this make me feel depressed, I know he will not let us down.. but sometimes I just like to voice things out and get it off my chest..

For all of you that read my journal, thanks.... for those of you that felt like leaving a message.. THANK YOU!! I always look forward to read and "feel" the love from my cafemom mates..  thanks a lot.

it could be worse though...you could have no income at all, have to give your kids to family raise for a while, live with a younger sibling because you are homeless, and not be you and dh not able to find any work at all.

Yvonne,

Yes things can always be worse but it doesn't change how you feel about your current situation. Money is so much part of our lives it is hard to be happy without it. You will be ok though!

I couldn't agree more. God did not mean for us to be in such a devsting place all the time.

Moeny os not all, but when you have plenty andyou can give it away, it sure does bring happiness!

You need it, to get your essentials, take care of your family, then give away the rest-that is real happiness.

God even confirms.
