Furloughs!! Just venting!!!

The furloughs for the schools suck!!! I understand the reason behind them but Hawaii's teachers are already one of the lowest paid throughout the states. Not only do our teachers suffer but our students as well!! It also puts a financial strain on families with working parents. They now need to find alternative care for their children. Our students test scores are below the mainland standards and now they will be having more days off... What does that do for their education? We all want the best for our children!!!
