To anyone who doesn't know me very well, this is just going to be endless raving that will probably make no sense, so don't bother reading on....

For those who DO know me...this will be just more of the same raving I do on a daily basis, only on a much higher level.....but you better read it anyway!!!!!! LOL

Ok, anyway, it's been about an hour since this happened, so I am at least not shaking anymore and can actually type....

So, as most of you know, my favorite musician the WHOLE WIDE WORLD is Jeff Loomis of the band Nevermore.  My fiance, Chris, got me into them years ago and it slowly grew into an all-out uncontrollable obsession :)  Chris went to high school with Jeff and took guitar lessons from him...but Jeff now lives in Seattle so I have not met him yet.  I absolutely worship this guy.  He is THE best guitarist in the world and I am not just saying that because he happens to be in my favorite band!!!  Just watch a video of him or listen to one of his songs (there's on on my playlist...first song on there).  He can do stuff that most guitarists only dream of.  Not only that, but he is a BRILLIANT song-writter.  The layers, depth, and complication of the stuff he writes totally feeds my autistic detail-freak side :)   You all know (or should) that I'm an atheist...so when I say OMG, this is who I'm referring to! :D

Anyways, as many of you have seen in my avatar and in my pictures, I just did a drawing of Jeff.  It's only the second time I've drawn a person in like 15 years!!!  I always preferred animals and hated drawing people because it has to be so perfect or it doesn't look like them.  I totally surprised myself at how good it turned out...

So anyways, I posted his on Facebook where I post most of my pictures because there's all kinds of people on there I know IRL (there's no one on CM that I actually know IRL....this is where I get to say anything I think LOL!).  Jeff's ex-fiance is on Facebook too...she is friends with Chris and only lives a block away from me.  I am assuming she emailed Jeff my picture, because when I woke up at 7am this morning (yeah, and my daughter's not even here!!!  Pathetic huh?), THIS was in my Facebook inbox!!!!!

I fucking freaked out so bad I could have run a marathon and not gotten tired!!!!!!!!!!  My hands are still shaking an hour later and my brain is just running a million miles a minute!!!!  This is something most people only dream about because their favorite artist/actor/whatever is too famous to bother with piddly little fans....but it's entirely possible that he'll end up coming to my house!!!!!!!!!  I can't even think about that prospect, it freaks me out.  I am literally terrified and super happy at the same time! LOL  He fucking called me DEAR!!!!!!!  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :) :) :)  You know those Beatles fans you see in their old videos passing out and being dragged to the hospital??  I know exactly how they feel right now!!!

Ok, I need to calm down or I'm going to have a heart attack.  *sigh*

Wow--I just read this post today, and all I can say is WOW. That is so cool that he took the time to message you...I know how excited you must be. It IS a great drawing and that is incredible that he contacted you. Congrats? Is that what I should say? :)

Amazing,,,,his sending you a note and the art work....I could not imagine  the possibility of meeting some one I admired like that....
