Ok, here we are again, school(basketball coach's) are asking for $$ for my kids to join the basketball team, they have not even picked for the team, and want $20 for their packet, full of papers that we need to sign,ok never heard of this and for them to ask for a packet full of papers to be sign costing that much is just ridiculous, I can see if and when my boys are picked to join the team and are on the team then maybe yes, but for them to do it now, when noone has even been picked. is just a waste of money to me. not sure who gets this $$ and why it is we have to pay this, a friend of mine who does basketball for his school and is a coach for the school and also  a teacher for his school, said No they don't ask for any money, and I should ask why and who is requesting it. that all I should be paying for if and when my boys get picked for the team. is to pay for the uniform, and the basketball back pack, and sweats that they will recieve. and that is it. so not sure what is going on. but really don't like the fact that they are asking for this ahead of time. we have to pay for the physicals which are 65.00 and for us that's for each of our boys so right there we are paying over 100.00, so to ask us to fork out another $40.00 is just ridiculous. will have to ask and find out what is going on. sounds suspicious and weird to me.
