Holy crap! My daughter is 13 months! As of yesterday. *tear* Where did the time go?

Now, I will be going back to Sea Duty here SOON if the Navy ever makes up its mind. How will this affect my role as a mother and student? I know I can't complain, because this was my choice. I chose to reenlist for two more years in September 2009. I kinda feel like I had no choice. I mean, I couldn't get out of the service with nothing to fall on. Again, that was my fault. I didn't stick to school as hard as I should have while I was on my previous Sea Duty tour. It was so hard, though. Going out to sea at randoms times...that really threw off my schedule. And then I didn't have Zoe!

I can't imagine what's in store for me these next two years. All I know is that if my squadron does accept me here soon, I will be leaving for my first deployment in January around South America. This will be a four month cruise. That's four months I will miss out of my one and only daughter's life! She's a little older now, so I'm assuming she knows time. My day always brightens up when I pick her up from daycare, because she is just soooo excited and happy to see me. What will she think when she realizes that I am gone for a long period of time?

Again, I'm not whining and/or complaining, because I chose this life style. I just want to get in the mindset of preparing for what's to come.

On a lighter note, 4 months on a ship?! That's pretty much four months of straight Navy diet and exercise! I'll be thin. But this is the price I have to pay to be thin? I don't like it...

Well, just roll with the punches. That's the best way to go with the flow. These last 4-5 years flew by! 2 more years should be more or less cake. Plus, I'll send you some care packages (so you send some to me, too, when I leave!)

Navy Ship Diet is the BEST! 125 is actually the best command I've been too, I hope you really like it there! :)
