My husband and I decided way back that we would let our kids have their hair however they wanted. Or try, anyway. I think it's important to my husband because he wanted a mohawk when he was little and never got it; now he's bald. We were talking about when our kids are older, but our 2½-year-old, Kalten, has an opinion NOW. We used to just buzz his hair with a #4 attachment, and he was happy with that. But lately he's told us he wants it longer. I said, "long like Mommy's?" and he said "no, like Kalten!" So he likes his longer hair. We've had the bangs and back trimmed, but that just looks like a toddler helmet. What he needs is a hairstyle. Here are a few pictures of what he looks like now:
The hair all goes forward and down from a double cowlick in the back. Any ideas???
He's cute... can't help with the hair cut. I have girls... but man is he adorable!
He is a cutie! Maybe just trim the back and around the ears? How about spiking the top? :-)
We ended up getting the same style, just shorter, so as not to traumatize him too much. He cried the whole time, even with a lollipop in his mouth. I would like to spike the top, but he is adamant about his hair laying down!

My son has multiple cowlicks and looks like chicken little if it gets too long. LOL. We have a stylist cut it now-but before we literally had to pin him down to use the clippers. Good luck with whatever you decide. Love his Kleenex shoes :)
