- Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack? I need something crunchy and a drink when I am reading. I like tea in all forms.
- Do you mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you? No,no,no! I never, ever, mark up my books. I really don't even like to write my name in them.
- How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? Laying the book flat open? I used a bookmark or the flap of the dust jacket.
- Fiction, Non-fiction, or both? Both, if it is interesting, I will read it. Even the side of a cereal box or the t.v. guide :)
- Hard copy, paperback, e-books or audiobooks? Hard or paperbacks. I don't those electronic things. I'm old school that way.
- Are you a person who HAS to finish chapters, or can you put a book down at any point? I stop when my eyes start to close.
- If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away? No..I am too busy reading the story.
- What are you currently reading? Night and Day by Robert P. Parker. It is the newest one in the Jesse Stone series.
- What is the last book you bought or checked out from the Library? It has been too long. No clue. I usually buy them. I don't the late fees. I would go broke.
- Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can you read more than one at a time? Usually I read one book at a time. I like to focus on that one story. My life is already busy enough. I can only keep so much in my head.
- Do you have a favorite time of day and/or place to read? Bedtime, when the house is peaceful...or when Rob and the kids are out and I have some time alone.
- Do you prefer series books or stand-alone books? It doesn't matter to me. I do enjoy certain series, like the In Death series by Nora Roberts. Those are ALWAYS good.
- Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over? The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin
- How do you organize your books? (By genre, title, author's last name, etc.?) By how many I can fit in my house ;)
- Do you always finish the books that you start, or can you give up midway through? If they don't hold my interest, then I will stop reading them. If I am going to spend my time reading it, then the story better be good.
