Cool New Google Service

Hope your Sunday is peaceful and happy.

I just ran across a new Google service I thought was totally cool. Now some of you may already know about it because sometimes I get so busy I miss the good NEW stuff until it's good OLD stuff. OK, enough on how my mind works, or should I say, doesn't work...

Anyhow... Google has a new number for 411 information calls that you can access for free.

Here's How It Works: Say you're driving along and can't remember the phone number for your favorite restraunt and would love to order a carry out to take home for dinner but gee... I really don't want to sit there and wait for 15-20 minutes... hum... what to do...

Just hit your speed dial on your cell for Google's number, a voice asks you what city and state. When you tell them, it asks for the business name or business type. You give the name of your favorite restaurant and the next thing you know, they're answering your call!! Place your order, pick it up and mosey on home!!

Now maybe I'm easily entertained, but I think that's just the coolest thing since sliced bread ;) And the best part... it's FREE. My cell phone carrier charges $1.75 per 411 call! That can add up quick if you're even half as absent minded as I am...
