My son and I used to just throw dirty clothes on the floor in a corner of our bathroom. When I was ready to wash them, he would gather a pile up for me and put them in a pillow case for me to take downstairs tot he basement. Well, the clothes continued to pile up. We have even piled them in our tub. Just didn't work.
Then, I decided to change locations and just put the clothes on the clothes hamper in my bedroom. Well, they just kept piling up. Everytime I went into my room, here was this pile of clothes looking at me. I actually hated looking at them, but I chose to not deal with the problem. I really ignored the problem. All I had to do was to take them downstairs and wash them.
I had company last week and my bedroom door is right next to the front door where my guest came in. I shut my door so she couldn't see this mountain of clothes.
Unbeknownst to me, my son had used the restroom from my bedroom and left my bedroom door open. When I walked my guest to the door, those clothes were starring at me once again~ Oh, I knew she saw them. It looked horrible.
4 days later and the clothes are still there. But great news! I decided to wash some clothes that day and asked my son to gather some clothes from this pile so I could begin to wash them.
I heard all of the way into my kitchen, "Oh, no~",really loud. It was my son. He said the whole pile fell on the floor; this huge pile. He said that he would pick them up. When I went back to my room, I decided to pick them all up and put them in pillow cases so they will be easier to handle going down to the basement. I was actually able to separate them according to colors.
My room looks so much better now. I think that if it could talk it would say, "Wow, I can breathe now." I am sure that it would have had a praise session. I decided to thank God myself for this opportunity to get all of this mess taken care of.
While talking with my son I told him that I am reminded of the scripture that says of the believer that all things work out together for the good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.
Actually, what looked like a negative thing (the clothes falling all over the place) turned out positive in that it prompted me to take the time now to get them separated and washed.
As a believer, I am encouraged by the scripture above to know when negative things happen in my life, God will work it out for my good. As I look back now at my life and those things that may not have been too swift for me, I can testify that He has worked everything out for my good~ And to Him I give the glory and honor.

Life would be so much easier if we all could be nude all the time! LOL Or own way less clothes so we have to do the laundry on a better schedule.
