U-Play Mat - WOW!! (w/pics)

I'm so excited, I just have to tell you! I got my U-Play Mat from www.playthisway.com over the weekend and it is fantastic! Jake is not a fan of flashcards, he always balked at them whenever I'd drag them out.  He would goof off, not sit still squirm away etc. But, this U-Play Mat is awesome!

Jake had so much fun answering the questions, telling me what was what and offering more info like what color the item was and where you would find it, etc.  It was so much fun!  We went through 3 packs of cards and he enjoyed them all!

Jake is a handson kid, so I let him put the parent card in the pocket with the matching card. This helps with fine motor skills, and makes him feel like he is actually playing a game, not just naming pictures.  It was too cool!
