Work for Writers: CloudCrowd

I've seen this name all over my usual writer haunts this weekend and have decided to give it a go. I'm always on the look out for new and interesting ways to earn more income and CloudCrowd seems like it may have potential. It looks like something that I could do sporadically for a few minutes throughout the day to increase my overall hourly rate.

CloudCrowd is a Facebook application; sign up is very quick and easy and the work seems quite straight forward; some of the available work includes hunting for and grading websites and editing text on websites found by others. More projects are promised in the near future. The pay varies depending on the job you are doing and from what I gather the pay has gone down in the last week, whether that will continue to be a trend I don't know. You earn commissions on referrals up to three tiers deep.Others have said that pay is quickly (daily) credited to your Paypal account. I haven't seen anyone yet talking about it negatively, so I'm hoping this will be another egg to add to our writing baskets.

I plan to head over there today and check out what work they have and get a piece of the action! I will let you know how it goes, although I have heard that this week they are ironing out some bugs and applying anti-cheat measures (yeah, keep out the spammers!), so work may be slow at first, that's ok though, my kids are ALL off school today, so time is not my friend. When I find out more information, the good, the bad and the ugly, I will let you know.

I will, I'll update when I've taken on a few of their jobs, I just checked and there wasn't really much available as yet today.
