Hear Me Hear me!

my thoughts come what may!

Dear Joseph....

How can you sleep at night?
My child I can't hold tight.
Years you took form me!
My child I cannot see....

You told me to my face,
A confession years to late...
The Bible, Gods love & Grace,
He tells me Not to Hate.
But my childs soul you did
Take!!!

An evil man without a soul,
My life and body never whole.
I AM now a person so strong
But, I wonder, has it taken to long?

You WILL NOT hurt me anymore,
For on deaths road I have an open door.
Your hands caused me so much pain
Hands now that her blood does stain...

I will never know the reasons why.
Or how many teardrops I have cried.
My child you did Not steal
For she IS in heaven, her body healed.
She watches down, her heart you broke,
But God knows the truth I heard you spoke!!!

Your jealousy and anger grew
Her death you cannot undo!!!
I pray for you as I should,
But believe me, I never thought I could.
A mothers love is never ending
Now Gods wrath, he will be sending!!

I will never watch her grow,
or play little piggies with her toes!!
Her hug I will Not feel.
My heart is finally ready to try to heal.
I Will see her again, this is true,
But it will NOT be the same for you!!!!

The Power of Prayer

A single prayer goes up to Heaven
A single tear falls to the Earth
So many lives changed and people filled with Hurt
Destruction and sadness fills the air
People ask, america do you still care?
Shots ring out
People we fly out
Reach out to Heaven
Turn your eyes to the sky
Jesus hears your cry
Your pain he wants to heal
But first America Kneel
Pray to the Son
Pray to the Father
Pray to the Holy Ghost
The Lord Loves you the most
Its up to you
You know What to do
Have a day of prayer
America God still cares
Children make cards and gifts
They send them away on a trip
Sent to a shelter for the lost
Send something that doesn't cost
Send a prayer today
Its they only way
Across the world we open our hearts
But a prayer is the proper start
Don't be hesidant
An exsample sent from our president
Think of them alone and scared
Helped by a single prayer
Buses go out to help bring them in
Save them Jesus from a Life of sin......

Please Pray For Me:

A child sits in tears
Noone here to calm her fears
Shes been lost a week
Her Mommy she sought to seek
Now noone for her to keep
A storm they couldn't run
Her Life spared by Gods only Son
Please pray for me
She cries her only plea
Pray for our nation
our President
And all who fight for you
America will start anew
But first needs prayers from you
A mother holds a pink blanket and a pair of booties
Thats all thats left of her little Beauty
Is there someone who can save me?
America can't you see?
Please pray for me
She cries her only plea
Pray for our nation
Our President
And all who fight for you
America can start anew
But first needs prayers from you
A soldier cries on a ship
The sights and death they finally hit
She prays for you and me
Oh Lord I Know you can see
Please help our country
Thats my only plea!
A mother hugs her child and prays
Shes longed to hold him for days
Lost in a storm that took her husbands Life
A prayer can help start to make it right

Please pray for me
She cries her only plea
Pray for our nation
our President
And all who fight for you
America can start anew
But first needs prayers from you
Start to build The Gulf Shores anew
With prayers from you
God remembers you
Remember him in All you do!
Start America Anew
With a single prayer from you.......

Songs I wrote after the aftermath of Katrina

Jesus hear my Prayer:

a Poem dedicated to my daughter Clarrissa after the huricane Katrina hit.....

I hold my child in church

Only God can heal her hurt

Shes seen nothing now But death

Thats all that is on our television set

I hold her tight

" Mommy why?"

She cries out at night

Why did they have to die?

Does God not hear them cry?

Yeshe does hear

But he needs our prayers

My child dear

He knows our fears

and yes, he cares

Maybe he could hear a prayer from you

Yes Mommy thats what I'll do

Jesus hear my prayers tonight

I know only you can make it right

Please help America to stand

I know only you can

With that simple prayer

She falls quickly to sleep

My tears I cannot keep

How can America come to see

That God listens to a single plea

If we gather together and pray

God will show us the way

Jesus hear my prayer tonight

I know only you can make it right

Please help America to stand

I know only you can

Isn't this why we are free

America can't you see

Her prayer is so True

Now its up to you

I pray with a tear in my eye

I look to heaven in the sky

Hear me tonight

Lord, make America right

America pray each and every day

I'll show you now the way,

Jesue hear my prayer tonight

I Know only you can make it right

Please help America to stand

I Know only you can

Only you cam heal the hurt and pain

Its God who washes away mans stain

Jesus hear my prayer tonight

I Know it will be alright

Heal America with a single prayer

Lord, Jesus someone in America still cares!

My Sleeping Child:
A poem for Clarrissa

I wrote this poem for my daughter after a dear friend of ours passed away. He was like a grandfather to my daughter he was a Godly christian man.

So sweet you rest
your head upon my chest
close to my heart you'll be
your a smaller version of me
Today was so sad
You were anything But glad
your face red with pain
a face your tears did stain
But now you rest
your head upon my chest
I watch you sleep My child so sweet
I'll hold you tight
My tears I fight
I kiss your head
and tuck you in bed
Why did your heart break?
For a soul Jesus did take
Your tears fell like rain
But I could not ease your pain
Sleep now my Little one
Dream till morning comes
You smell so sweet
Now you've gone to sleep
I will pray tonight
for in the morning light
sunshine rayswill kiss your face
A smile across your lips
and a hug at my fingertips
sleep tight
all will be alright
-I love you My Lissa
Now I'll need a kiss
So I'll tuck you in tonight
Your sleep I'll Miss
But you'll Be alright
My Child I hold tight

Two poems one for My Ashley, who passed Away, The other for my Lissa, Alive today

July 09, 1995 to July 9, 2004 WHEN I wrote this

A Poem For My Ashley:

My dearest Ashley
I miss you so
How I wish I cold have
seen you grow

Nine years ago
You meet your sad fate
I was just to late

You left Without a sound
The pain - felt was profound
I watched you let go to Life
My star that shown so bright

your soft skin, and big brown eyes
all I could ask is WHY, WHY, Why!!

I held youand kissed you goodbye
To much in shock to cry
I close my mind
Yet I hear your cry deep inside

A watery grave
for an Angel who was so Brave
I miss you so
Why did you have to go?

I dream of the time you were here
I cuddled you and held ypu near
now the Great Divide is our part
But I still have you, Alive in my Heart.....

Please read & let me know what you think of my poem, Thanks....
When you were so new
I held you in my arms and Knew
This was my baby, my child I would never let go
I watched you mature in grow
A child while sleep you lay
Then its gone in a single day
God took you away
not to stay for another day
Was there something I done wrong?
In one day you were gone
I think of you often and what would you be?
My baby, my child, my Little Ashley....
I stare at the sky
And I ask God why?
He says , my child you will never know
But my love for you will always grow
Ashley so you see me
I long to hold you but know that can't be
Oh how I long to smell your sweet breath
Its unfair, you had an untimely death
I think of you often, and what would you be?
My baby, my child, my little Ashley...
The finger prints are all washed away
Not to stay for another day
A soft laughter never heard
My broken heart all that occurred
Jesus died for you & me
But my soul, is the death for me
with out your death my life would be
Nothing to show of what Jesus did for me
A mothers cry
Its my hearts reason why
I miss you
I love you
My baby, My Child, my little Ashley........
In Loving memory of Ashley Elizabeth Holt
