2009 Gooding County 4-H Award

Well the 2009 year end awards have been given out. When we get the November news letter we will post all the winners for 2009; but until then I thought I would let you know how Cora did.

Cora did very well she received Top Achievement for: Clothing and Textiles, Fashion Revue, Food and Nutrition, Beef, and Demonstrations these all came with a Pin. Cora also received the Outstanding Clothing Project $15 scholarship, Best 4-H intermediate Market Beef Record Book ( Plaque) and The Outstanding 4-H Beef Project (Trophy).

We are still waiting to hear how Cora did at State with her Wool slacks and jacket Clothing Project. We will let you know how she does as soon as we find out.

Now that the 2009 year is over Cora is already starting her 2010 projects, I'm not sure what they all will be.The ones I do know she will be doing are Quilting, leather craft, sewing, Market Beef, Style Revue and Public Speaking. Cora was invited to do a horse project with another club, She turned them down stating that is what she loves to do  to escape from her stress; I did not know that. Funny how you learn something new about your children only when a question is ask by someone else.

I am very proud of Cora and I love that she love's 4-H.
