I "made-up" one side of my face

Okay I have always battled undereye circles, it limits my color choices and styles in shadow because if I dont go with a neutral-boring-all natural eyeshadow look then the end result is two-big-funky racoon circles.  Humiliating as it is, I am asking you to check out these pics and tell me what you see is good in them, what is wrong and any other tips you can provide.  When lookin at pics the left side is bare and the right side is "made-up"  Thanks a million!  oh yeah, my dig camera isnt here so i had to use my phone, sorry for the bad lighting!
