Hear Me Hear me!

my thoughts come what may!

Today really FREAKED me out!!! My DD got in the car with her friend. Her friend blurts out, "Lissa got Kissed!!" I'm like WHAT????!!! My DD has been told from day one of her first bfs this year, that she has to last 4 mnths B4 she can kiss a boy. Well, She hasn't EVER lasted longer then 2 MONTHS with a Bf, so my DH & I thought, SHE'LL NEVER get her first kiss..... Boy HOWDY were we WRONG!!!!

So apparently, Yesterday while at parent/teacher confrence, her Bf took the inisitive to lean in & KISS my DD!!! Now mind you my DD DID NOT kiss him BACK, however she killed me with this comment.... "Momma does this count as a first kiss?" And next followed with this question," so can I kiss NOW??" Fear completely filled me!! I'm like, NO WAY!! First off he kissed her, so Thank GOD, she didn't KISS BACK! But as I have told her, she IS NOT allowed to KISS or BE Kissed until 4 MONTHS! Then came the grueling task of telling my DH, my DD BEGGED me NOT to tell daddy! She was so worried last night she couldn't sleep!! Well I told the DH, he wasn't mad at her, in fact he laughed a little... Me, NOT so MUCH!! Anyways, he informed me to tell her 2 let Mr Hormone driven bf know that there is to be NO MORE KISSING UNTILL THEY HAVE DATED ATLEAST 4 MONTH! I as a momma, am proud of my DD for NOT kissing back, but bummed that she has unfortunately been kissed.....

It appears NO MATTER how much we try & Shelter our kids, They GROW UP to FAST!

You're good parents.  At least she didn't kiss back.  We can only be with our kids for so long and then they grow up.  But you taught her a valuable lesson in being intimate with a guy.  She knew better NOT to kiss back that was a good thing.  You may not BE with your kids all the time but you are in their minds all the time.  Great job.  Keep up the great work.

The kids do grow upway to fast. I like the rule aboutdating for 4 months before kissing. Here's a question, Should it be the same for boys?

Noah drives me nuts with the girls in his school. All the girls like him!

And 6yr old Charity likes to kiss everyone, and has kissed her first boy, and boasts about it!
