My grandkids are a hoot!

Rose's big thing right now is about the sun.  The sun comes up the morning & goes to bed in the evening at sunset.  You can not yawn or take a nap when the sun is up.  She yelled at me so many times today for yawning.  I was so tired....How tired was I, you ask?   I was so tired hat I did go on a bus trip with my hubby.  I stayed home in hopes to get a short nap in then do alittle work.  I did know Rose would be staying with me until the last minute.  So I had to change my plans around.  She kept me up, she is very good at that.  I had Chris this morning, be he didn't sleepl long at all.  He is cutting teeth so he was aliltt fussy.  He did eat a jar of baby food for me.  His mom is coming in earlier & earlie.  So she comes to get him earlier too.  It works out really good so I shouldn't be complaining.  Now kids in the morning cause Vicki is off on Wednesday.  I may have Rose's but she isn't a problem.  So since I would have the kids tommorrow I can look for the kitchen plans my hubby missed placed.   He's ready to start on it now & I want to help him in any way I can.  This is the second time we've lost these plans.  I can draw up new ones after the wall is build & the have the cabinets out so I can see what we have.  I know we have 2 of those 36 inch corner cabinets.  It's the other caribnets I'm not sure where the go but I will figure it out.  After all it is my design to begin with.  One day I might put pictures on here showing the fire damage & pictures that show how far they have gotten so farm.  I've been looking at flooring.  The reason why I don't want a new home is deciding on everthing is so hard then I change my mind a couple of times atleaest.  I was going ot decorate the kitchen in grapes but with the kids living upstairs & have no plans to move, I've almost decided to let them decorate the way they want it.  We will be building a new kitchen in the basement for us.  That means compromising with my hubby on how it's to be decorated.  He wants a red kitchen, I want a purple kitchen so we will decorate with fruit that has those colors & mix & match purple & red stuff. 

I found the tub we both like for a not to bad price.  It's a spa bath, runs around $2000.  It has a shower & other great things.  So I think my bath will be down next.  We have everthing but the flooring & the tub.  I've also designed this room with help from my hubby.  Then the storage room will be transformed into our bedroom.  The bedroom we are using now will have a few uses.  My dh wants a radio room, I want a room for the grandkids to sleep when they are here.  I have beds from new born size up to twin beds.  But then I aslo have a bedroom suite I want to use but it's antique.  I don't have one yet from our room but we saw a set made of solid oak & it was $10,000 but she would come down for us a big.  I think she said $7500.  We'll see.  I think we would be better off useing my set & adding some things to it that I want.  We can make our own jewelry cases.

I have so much jewelry,  This week I want to go through all of it & sent some to my granddaughters.  I am hoping to get most on my mom's jewelry.  I'll have to make room for it.  I will do fine with all of this if I can just keep focused.  I get side tracked very easily but my kids & my grandkids.  What a nide reason to stop. 

Well, I'm half asleep here already so I'll end now & be back tomorrow.  If I don't write something tomorrow  then I am just to tired & will the next day.  May be will get my chair to the shop tomorrow.  I hope so.  My car isn't done yet, the part hasn't come in.  My dh says we will not buy a GM product again.    One of thes days, things will be done & car will be running & we can make the triips we want.

On can only hope, & pary. It will be the way we went things someday. & soon.

I love the purple and red combination!   I have a lot of purple in my home.   Sounds wierd but all my carpeting on the main floor and main areas is purple.  Its sharp looking.   In the main living room we accented with red sofa's which really looks awesome!
