I need to get it off my chest!

Okay so here is what I need to get off my chest! My hubby's best friend just bought a house! We are very happy for her! She helped us so much when we bought ours in May.  But here's my problem. She's single with no kids, hubby and I aren't. We' have 2 kids one of which is in school. I also run a daycare out of my home! We have devoted every weekend and every evening to her since the end of September!  All we want is one day as a family but even then it's not really a family day because we have to catch up on all our chores and everything that got neglected.  She's got way more friends then we do but yet know of them come to help. I just don't get it!  I don't want to ruin a friendship so I'm getting it out on here so that I won't just scream at her tomorrow to take a flying leap! Oh and just so that there are no comments as to why my hubby's BFF is a woman it's because they are like brother and sister and they've been together for 30 years I've only been around for 7 of those years! Plus I love her too! She's great! But I need a break!

There now it's off my chest! "Sigh"

LOL, I feel ya.  talk to hubby and tell him to tell her or you tell her I"VE GOT THINGS TO DO. I HAVE A FAMILY AND A BUSY JOB AND I WANT TIME WITH MY HUBBY & CHILDREN. I NEED OUR TIME TOGETHER TO GET US BACK ON TRACK.  take care, good luck....

Oct. 15, 2009 at 1:32 PM Thank you for the advice! My hubby is getting burnt out too! I think we are taking sunday and Monday off from helping! We just need to regroup! It's not like she didn't take breaks from our house!

I know how you feel I have been there, sometimes you have to turn off the phone and pretend your not home lol. If it gets bad call me lol Ill come save you :) Honestly though just be honest and tell her you need a family day or two, let her know that the 4 of you need some down time without company. From everything you have said about her I would think she could understand.

BTW we  need to get together soon lol I have had so much going on we need to catch up and I have so many things to tell you lol.
