Been Together 10 years and still not married!

I love my guy and I tend to tell people that we are married, but we are not. He always say he's going to marry me, but it's been 10 years and I'm thinking how much longer am I going to wait and that's if I want to wait? I want to get married I don't care if it's in a courthouse with no bridesmaids, flowers, friends or not I just want to get married! I'm tired of his excuses

It took my sil and her boyfriend 12 years before they got married. I can't tell you why he finally decided to ask her to marry him but he did. She was almost done and tired of waiting. I know for me, I waited 8 years, and I told him if he didn't want to get married then I am going to move back to my home state. I was unhappy where I was but I loved him. I hated to put that on him but I couldn't wait any longer.
