Anyone Out there Struggling in their MLM

Have you been struggling in your home based mlm business. I spent years stuggling and i have found some really great guidance online. My uplines all come from old school MLM strategies. Make a list, call them all, convince them that they need to join you. Oh man that was aweful. Are any of you struggling with this approach? Share your experiences. Have you found any solutions?
