I have always been in touch with my inner child, but what I’m not is easily impressed. I expect things to wow me, amaze me, leave my chin touching the ground. It’s a rare moment when something captivates me to no end and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s “Zing Zang Zoom” achieved just that.

My Mom: Trying on the Performers Costumes

We arrived a little early, after finding the perfect place to park, and go inside to pick-up the tickets we already had waiting. We stood around for about 10 minutes and then the infamous metal gates were rolled up, and the crowd began to submerge the arena. Within a minutes time we were inside and the pre-show had begun. They had performers, clowns, animals and so much more awaiting to entertain the masses. It was a very nice welcome to allow us to step directly into their world, up-close, and experience the circus entertainment first-hand.

An hours time had passed and it was time to go back to our seats so they could prepare for the actual show. Just watching the crew get everything set-up was fun. They do it with such precision and ease. Suddenly, the music came on and the lights turned off. I felt myself take a deep breath in anticipation of what I was about to experience. Keep in mind that I haven’t seen a circus since I was a young child…

From beginning to end multiple performers, elephants, horses, zebras, tigers, dogs & clowns stole the show. It was a 3-ring circus, but not so chaotic that you couldn’t keep up with what all was going on as it all blended together so perfectly.

Endangered Species: Asian Elephants Show-Off Their Skills

The majestic Asian elephants impressed me with not only their size, but their ability to do such wonderful tricks. The tigers, albeit slightly intimidating, had me on the edge of my seat as I watched one man maintain control of each of them as he guided them through trick after trick. The horses were positively stunning. It wasn’t just their fabulous stunts that made me pay attention, but their appearance, alone, was amazing; so well cared for.

However, it wasn’t just the animals who stole the show, the clowns put on some very clever skits that had the entire audience in stitches. Just when you thought you knew what they were going to do next, they surprised you and resistance of laughter was futile.

One of my favorite moments is when husband & wife were sky-rocketed across the arena from a their rockets at 65 miles per hour! I distinctly remember sitting there thinking to myself, “Riiiiight, there’s no way. There’s some magic involved here.” So I had my camera ready and the picture I took was proof positive. My reaction was a simple, “Wow” as my chin dropped to the floor; figuratively speaking of course.

Zingmaster Alex was the perfect element added into the mix. He played narrator, magician and more. His charm on stage made you pay attention to every word spoken and curious as to what he would do next; including making an entire elephant disappear right before your very eyes!

This was, indeed, the greatest show on earth and left me wanting to see it again & again. From countless others I have spoken to, since last night, the general consensus stands… it was truly phenomenal from spell-bounding start to mass confetti finale.

Kudo’s to those responsible for making this an incredible experience for millions across the country, of all ages, and beyond. We’ll definitely see you next time!

We just saw that show here in NH a few weeks ago! It was amazing!  So amazing it kept my two year old grandson fully amused the whole time!   I recommend this show highly to anyone, of all ages. I loved it myself
