My poor attempt at a "professional" photography shoot! LOL Comments and suggestions welcomed. *pic heavy*

So my best friend called me up yesterday and told me that her kids grandma wanted pictures of them but how she couldn't afford it to get them done for her. She asked since I like taking pictures and I have a digital camera if I would try to take some pics and make them look professional. I told her I make no promises but I'd give it a shot and to bring a bed sheet for a background. So the next day she came over and I drilled the bed sheet onto the wall LOL so it would stay up, got a footstool for the little one and went to town. Yes, I know the "background" is a pattern and it should be solid but that's the only sheet she had and she had no money to buy a solid one. So here's the pics, tell me what ya think...

OK so the kids love one of my dogs Jax and wanted him in a couple pics so that explains these. Jax is a "foster flunkie" meaning he was a foster I had and we feel in love with and kept him. He's so patient to put up with this! LOL

I agree with Lb.  They're good pics.  I'd go for either a solid color/textured bg or nature bg next time, but these turned out really well!

You take great pictures girl! I agree the back ground should be a little different , either outside , or maybe a solid soft color!

Thanks ya'll. I know the BG should've been solid and I told her to bring a solid sheet with her but she didn't have one and neither one of us had the $ to buy one...don;t ya just love being broke?!!!? LOL
