Out on the ocean, under the moon,
A little boat sailed, to follow a tune.
The song was sung by a floating light.
Guiding the way through blackness of night.

The stars hovered with a twinkle to spare,
Golden fish splashed about without a care.
The little boat stopped and the light did too.
The fish swam down, and the stars shone through.

The tune went on, and sanity drained,
Sparkle vanished, purity stained.
Song became scream, and stars took cover,
Behind the clouds, and behind each other.

The little light sank and sat on reflection
A lost little boat cried, without any protection.
Out came the stars, nudged by the moon,
They whispered, ‘little boat, you’ll be home soon’

Down came a cloud, shook his head, not amused.
Called on the fish, to swallow the accused.
The light tried escaping, but it was too late for that.
The fishies were hungry, the fishies were fat.

The little boat sighed, and asked for a tune,
The cloud flew back, had a chat with the moon.
‘Little boat listen, to the tune that’s around you’
‘The waves and the winds, the tunes that surround you’

All became quite, all was so still,
The boat heard a whisper, the boat felt a chill,
A song became heard, a more beautiful song,
Out on the ocean, it was there all along.

No need to follow attractive lights and their tune.
Just listen around you, take advice from the moon.
There’s no room for bullies, no room for tune fishing,
Use up your time, listening, believing and wishing.
