Baby Payton Leigh is finally here!! She was born Friday October 9,2009 at 5:16pm. She weighed 8lbs and was 21in long. As soon as she was born I couldn't wait to introduce her to her big sister Hailee. The hospital however had a new rule because of the Flu that anyone under 18 was not allowed in the maternity side of the hospital :(. Let me tell you how broken my heart was when I heard about that(right before I gave birth). Anyways I was so ready to see how her big sister was going to react. Now mind you her big sister is only 15mths old and used to being the center of everyones attention LOL. When we got home she was soo excited to see the "baby". She had been rubbing my belly for months saying baby and now the baby was here(not that I think she understood that part). At first of course she was excited, the next few days I think she was annoyed LOL. She wanted to push the baby out of my lap everytime I would go to nurse Payton. Grandma brought over a "baby" for Hailee to take care of. That was the SMARTEST thing EVER!! Now when I nurse Payton, Hailee nurses her Baby and she burps her and rocks her. It is the sweetest thing you could watch. Usually when I sit down with Payton I will say "Hailee go get your baby so you can feed her while Mommy feeds Payton". Well this morning I sat down and I looked over and Hailee was already tending to her baby. She is so cute burping her :) It just goes to show how smart kids are an quick they pick up on things.
Anyways now she is getting used to the baby being home and ALWAYS here. She is starting to get back on a schedule of her own. Thank goodness I work at home because there is no way I'd be able to pull myself away from either of them and miss out on ANYTHING!!! It is def a rewarding feeling to take care of t 2 of them everyday and know that they are all mine!!

Congratulations.... and much happiness wished for all of you..
When my two were little I gave my son and airlpane from his baby sis so he would know how special she thought her big brother was... He liked that.
Congratulations!!! I'm sooooo happy for you & glad to hear that Hailee is so accepting of her little sister. Just wait a few years. They will be the best of friends!!!!
