Recently I have begun to write again. It seems to keep me rather sane if I do say so myself... This is a poem I wrote as when I was going through my divorce. As I have read many Journals on here I have seen where some people could understand this just as many before them have. Yes I use to share it at the cafe where I would read my poems weekly. This was was written Sept 12, 1997  and copyrighted as well! Can't be to safe.. LOL By none other than I.. Dannille.. Here it is ..

A Cry From the Heart

As I walk down this lonely road.

I feel my strengths and weakness.

Yet I believe that I can make it!

The feelings that I once shared have fadded

Yet I still share my love in different ways.

It is hard to forget the past

something so dearly shared.

The love

The respect

the dedication

Now have all vanished.

One would have never known it has exsisted

except for the memories that linger in ones mind.

One knows that the heart can be mended

yet the lonliness still fills you.

Making you long for another

Knowing that you long for the wrong reasons.

Everyday you make that same trip down that same road

Wishing

Hoping

Knowing if meant to be in time your shall love another.

Yet destiny holds no dates or times frames

Just be careful it takes time don't rush it

YOu dont' want to regreat it in the future for not being patient

Let love come to you

For if it is meant to be you shall love forever

Yet if you choose to seek it

You just may be looking for another heartbreak

For time heals the heart and soul

If that time is not given heartbreak is all that you my ever find!

Also ... remember this if your not going through a divorce and perhaps been dating... It took along time for me to realize just this... Oh .. and if you haven't please read New JOURNAL ... Journey back to ME for today .. posted before this ..
