Big news - continue to pray. Its bitter sweet.

As many of you know, we are almost 27 weeks pregnant with a baby boy and we have two kids, Landon (4) and Tara (1). We’ve always prayed for four children, 2 boys and 2 girls, but the doctor told me that this might be the last baby I could have. Todd and I have been praying that we could somehow have the four children we had always dreamed of still after we had received this news in August ’09. A couple months ago, Todd’s sister, Amelia’s husband died when she was 8 months pregnant. On August 8th, 2009, Amelia welcomed on a bittersweet day, Brooke Alexandra. Last night Amy (Amelia) unexpectantly died in a car accident. Amy’s will was read this morning and it gave 2 month old Brooke to us. I got a hold of Todd and gave him the news. I was very scared considering that we were already worried about having Tara and Connor so close in age and now we will have 3 within 2 years. Todd reassured me that God must have a plan for Brooke’s life that needs to be a part of our lives. So it will be a rough transition, especially since I still have 3 months with Todd gone.
But. Please continue to pray for us as we try this, but more importantly Amy’s family this is a great loss.

Wow! This is so sad, but I am so glad that little baby girl will have a good home with you guys! I'll be praying for all of you!
