moving out of my dad's

so we are currently living at my fathers because my husband got laid off as a carpenter. plus he was going through health problems at the time. anyways, fast forward a year we both have full time jobs now. not good jobs but something to keep food on the table. we dont really have enough money for rent yet unless we really really spend the minimum. anyways i know that the only way we will be able to move out is to move into a place with a low move in special. although all the neighborhoods that offer that are in a very shitty neighborhood. somewhere i do not want my children growing up in. so im kinda stuck. also all of our belongings are in storage in nantucket which is going to cost me $2500 to bring it down here. so im shit out of luck on that because i just dont have that much time to save all that money and then save again to move into a decent place. all with another baby on the way. my dads is a 2bdr apt and there is already me, my husband, and dylan living in one room. me being pregnant. so its a mess and it needs to be fixed but i just feel so stuck on what to do with my money and what would be best to do. so this is my dilemma. do i just say screw it and move into what i can get? and start over with everything we own? i could just keep paying the storage which is an extra $115 every month. im pulling my hair out over this. help. =)

what would happen if you guys moved out and had the power turned on (with deposit) and water, etc and then you didn't make enought to pay the rent or water or power and thignsstarted getting turned off then you have the reconnection fee of 50 and the past due bill. 

I'd stay right where you are b/c you are going to need help and so is your dad.  with the new baby too and your son.   Just try to make it work and save what money you can so that you can get a place that you are not fearful of.  your dad doesnt mind helping you guys out right???   take care
