OH dear, my childern scare me sometimes! We live in a rental, and it was built to be handicap accessible, so all the doorhandles are pull downs in stead of knobs. Extremely easy for my 3 year old to figure out. And then the bolt on the door is also in her reach and she quickly figured that out. It took awhile but I got to where she wouldn't run outside without me (boy was that a headache though!). So today I am in the bathroom cleaning and I turn the fan on, and shut the door so the girls can't come in and get in all the chemicals. My 3yo comes in anyways, and says "Mom there's someone at the door for you!" What?! Sure enough there is maintenace come to change our furnace filters and fire alarm batteries. They just smiled, and said, "she let us in". Although they were still standing outside. Who knew the doorbell wasn't loud enough to be heard over the radio, fan and through a closed door! Anyways, I'm thinking I need to get another chain lock or something higher up on the door, or just push the couch or something in front of the door. Yeah, my kids have no stranger danger.

Yeah...I'd definitely suggest getting a chain, or latch at the top of the door where she can't reach it. That's scary!
