My sister asked me if I was going to get my DD the H1N1 vac, I said NO. My DD has been immunised against Mumps, & Chicken Pox, GUESS WHAT?? She GOT BOTH!!! And NOT just a MILD form of it!! My DD was 8 yrs old, with the MUMPS!! Now I'm thinking, if they have had that vaccine around for AGES, and my DD GETS AN OUT OF era Disease... Who's to say this THROWN together in LESS then 2 YEARS VACCINE is gonna PROTECT MY KID???

I was wondering what you think, & if you are going to Vaccinate your kids.. Please not HATE replies, its just honest curiosity. Thanks, & please mark POPULAR.

P.S. Sorry if I can't spell... I did use SPELL CHECK! LOL

Nope, not going to get this vaccine. We all got the regular flu shot.  I feel that there will build up the immunes to keep away the h1n1, as well as insanely washing the hands. We all have a small bottle of hand santizer we carry around.  Daughter uses it at school often enough she's gone through three bottles of the stuff.  And yes, I vaccinated her.

I  couldn't live with myself if anyone in my family died because they didn't get the vaccine.  We all have allergies and asthma at times. Being a critical care nurse I know how important prevention is. I have taken care of H1N1 patients and had two young people die.  This is not like the seasonal flu.  Believe what you want, but for me, having close experience with H1N1 I felt better about the vaccine than H1N1.
