Thanks to everyone who prayed for this man. He is on his way home from Houston. My son went to pick up him and his wife from the hospital. Apparently, she had to get a ride down there and be dropped off. Also, the hospital threw away his shoes and clothes, claiming they were wet and bloody. My son said they weren't. I don't understand this, except that someone just didn't want to keep up with them. It's terrible because not everyone can afford to replace things like that, even if they need cleaning and look worn. The man is not a rich man and is the provider for his family. We chipped in to help buy new work boots for him, as those had been the only pair he had and they weren't even good ones. Also, a new set of clothes for him to wear home. We did find out he only recently was able to get the electricity turned back on at his home, and now he will lose at least a week of work...not sure when he will be able to go back as I've not heard yet.
I don't have the update on his condition, but I know he is better since he is going home. At least it means he woke up. I can only imagine the stress his wife must have been through.
God bless you all
