DEMAND IT!

 

 

 

            No government in history has EVER given up its power unless it was DEMANDED and/or TAKEN back by the people. So, DEMAND IT! It is your RIGHT.

 

 

 

While this administration is busy telling anyone who it hopes to buy votes from in future that healthcare is a right; that upper level education is a right; that voting is a right, they are amassing great power unto themselves at the EXPENSE of our ACTUAL, CONSTITUTIONAL rights. They tell their voting base to DEMAND of their government entitlements, handouts, redistribution of OTHER PEOPLE'S money, and in the PROCESS manage to have these helpless and desperate individuals HAND OVER their ACTUAL rights, along with the rights of their neighbors. These confidence people masquerading as statesmen take advantage of the weak, the feeble minded, the poor, the disenfranchised, and those who THINK themselves disenfranchised as a direct result of the campaign from the very party that needs the voter to feel victimized. In this manner, politicians and government grow in power and influence over the individual and become the biggest threat to those very rights guaranteed in the Constitution that the politician is sworn to protect!

 

 

 

            Politicians have been doing this for years. It is time that we DEMAND they CEASE and DESIST.

 

 

 

            These DEMANDS used to be voiced at the ballot box. That is no longer an efficient or effective communication to government that you DEMAND they CEASE and DESIST. While these politicians campaign as true opponents of the status quo in DC, they get into office and proceed to participate in the same quid pro quo methodology of passing legislation resulting in the growth in power of government and blurring the ideological principles of either party. It is time to make our DEMANDS in a manner that the message cannot be misconstrued to be a mandate by one or the other party. How do we take BACK power?

 

 

 

DEMAND IT!

 

 

 

DEMAND that the Seventeenth Amendment be repealed so that Senators are appointed by their STATE legislative body and receive their PAY from THAT body. In this manner, there is NO INTEREST in gathering power to the Federal government. The founders KNEW what they were about when they determined that THIS ensured that STATES would retain their RIGHTS and would PROTECT the citizens from the power brokers in the political parties and the power grab by politicians serving in DC.

 

 

 

DEMAND that the Sixteenth Amendment be repealed and the Fair Tax instituted: the IRS has NO OVERSIGHT and a $10 BILLION a year budget! The ONLY way they ever managed to reach into your pocket and take your money BEFORE you ever received your paycheck was to AMEND the Constitution. THAT should give you ALL pause about the willful, deliberate power grab by the government. At least with the Fair Tax, you are NOT required to actually forego your FOURTH Amendment right to PRIVACY with regards to your papers and finances by having to FILE such information to the federal government. At least with the Fair Tax the very people who VOTE for entitlements MUST participate in the Funds that provide those entitlements. If we do NOT institute the Fair Tax, then we should DEMAND that a person demonstrate that they PAID IN INCOME TAXES to the federal government BEFORE they can exercise the PRIVILEGE of voting on how to SPEND it.

 

 

 

DEMAND that government agencies PROVE a NEED for a budget increase before one is given and REWARD rather than penalize SCRUPULOUS accounting wherein an agency manages to come in under budget.

 

 

 

DEMAND that there be NO EARMARKS-we cannot hold agencies accountable for their budget shortfalls, when Senators and Representatives earmark OUT money for pet projects; NO PORK spending, and NO NON-GERMANE amendments to pieces of legislation such as just passed the Congress: Hate Crimes legislation has NOTHING to do with Defense Spending. ALL of this spending MUST be ‘STAND ALONE' legislation, DULY debated on the floors of both houses before ONE DIME goes to these projects.

 

 

 

DEMAND that NOT ONE MORE DIME in spending be legislated or appropriated UNTIL the economy turns around. We have had a 20 percent INCREASE in the deficit in less than ONE YEAR! That money is not even ALL spent and already Congress is set to spend more than a TRILLION MORE! They are already talking about VAT and yet another stimulus bill when not even fifty percent of the LAST one has been spent, and according to the administrations own Economic Advisor, the remaining money is not EXPECTED to impact the economy AT ALL! So, WHY SPEND IT? More importantly, WHY SPEND MORE?

 

 

 

How do you make these DEMANDS? How do you DEMAND that the government LISTEN to you? There are many ways to make yourself and your DEMANDS known:

 

 

 

Letters to your Congressional representatives are ALWAYS BEST: if you have taken the time to write your concerns and mail them in at your own expense, they carry more weight.

 

 

 

Phone calls, faxes, emails are another good way to DEMAND consideration, however, most often phone lines end up busy, impeding your ability to get through.

 

 

 

Write editorials itemizing your DEMANDS in your local or in national print media.

 

 

 

Create your own ADS with a list of your DEMANDS and pay to have them placed prominently in local or national print media.

 

 

 

Create your OWN You-tube videos expressing your DEMANDS in an artful manner.

 

 

 

Create your own website or networking site to communicate your DEMANDS in a format wherein feedback and participation can generate notice.

 

 

 

Show up at town hall meetings and voice your DEMANDS directly.

 

 

 

Circulate petitions with CLEAR DEMANDS. It is best that these are done IN PERSON as email petitions have no actual signature and are more difficult to keep track of or to verify.

 

 

 

Participate in and organize rallies, marches, protests with signs that CLEARLY delineate your DEMANDS.

 

 

 

Protest outside of news organizations that REFUSE to REPORT on your DEMAND activities or to print your editorials and ads.

 

 

 

DEMAND that your STATE legislature support the repeal of the Seventeenth Amendment and other measures to RETURN the power closer to the influence of the individual.

 

 

 

DEMAND that schools STOP propagandizing for this administration and its policies and that they start conveying the RESPECT to PARENTS and STUDENTS for whom they WORK. If they do NOT respond to the above processes of DEMAND, PULL YOUR CHILDREN OUT of their facilities. Imagine the IMPACT of the ENTIRE student body being kept home for TWO weeks, preferably the two weeks they concern themselves with most as they determine their funding.

 

  And of course, VOTE. But DON"T just re-elect an incumbent because they are from your party or because you think they are nice. VOTE based upon their VOTES in the Congress. If they FUDGED on important issues ONCE, they will do it again! HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!

 

YOU CAN DO THIS! It is not ONLY YOUR RIGHT, but it is your DUTY as Americans and the GOVERNING BODY of this nation. TAKE BACK YOUR POWER!

 

 

 

Do it today to secure LIBERTY and PROSPERITY to your children TOMORROW! It IS that important. And it WILL NOT OCCUR without your DEMAND that it does!
