How much are you spending?

Have you ever added up the total amount of money you spend just on cosmetics and personal care items like deodorant, body lotion and hand cream? More and more people are creating home budgets and more and more women are finding out that they just can't afford to pay $30 or more dollars for a face cleanser or tube of mascara. So, have you found products that are permitted in your budget or have you given up?

I really wasn't sure how to answer your poll with none of the options really applying to what I ended up doing. I actually traded up rather than down. I went from using regular retail items to using Arbonne and Mary Kay. The quality is so much better and it's ends up being cheaper with how long the items last. It's also so much easier to return anything if the color doesn't work out or whatever.
