Ooooh! Hubs is an Electrical Engineer... and is enrolled back in college to study Biomedical Engineering.
However he doesn't make 80k (yet)... you LIE CNN! lol. But in all seriousness.. the job field for Electrical Engineers is wide open! In his field (semiconductor industry.. he works for a division of Intel) there are open positions starting at 45-60k in that field that only require Associates degree... pretty darn good.
Its amazing that right now, there are opportunities all over the place.. from wind farms all over the country, to oil companies (BP) to solar fields, to fabs in Singapore! Not too shabby to know you have that kind of job security.
Engineering, engineering, enineering!
Hubby is a civil engineer (geotechnical and bridge) and he has never been in danger of losing his job.
